To raise awareness of plastic waste and reduce pollution, Lumosa staff self-organized a beach cleaning event to pick up rubbish on the beach in Laomei Green Reef, Shimen District, New Taipei City. "We are looking forward to connecting with the local community and educating our young about how small pieces of refuse can affect the environment," says the organizer Yihsuan Chen, Manager in the Product Development and Intellectual Property Division. The team picked up 15 bags of waste during the half-day event that took place on Saturday, October 1.
